This 4-hour nationally recognized American Traffic Safety Services Association course instruction on proper uses of and standards for flagging equipment, setting up flagging stations; factors effecting vehicle stopping distances; recognition of dangerous situations; communication methods with highway work zone employees and motorists; and recognition of health hazards associated with summer & winter work.

Hearing Conservation

Hearing Conservation: The purpose of a hearing conservation program is to prevent occupational hearing loss and to protect employees and contractors. Educating employees on why they should pay attention to “noise” hazards is the basis of this program and it fulfills the annual training requirement (CFR1910.95). The session includes information on how the ear works, types of hearing problems, causes of hearing damage, potential effects of noise on hearing, purpose of audiometric testing, explanation of the testing procedures, and how to properly fit hearing protectors.

American Heart Association Certified First Aid / AED and CPR Training

specialty-training-1The Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), use an AED (automated external defibrillator), and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
